CAN I STAKE FROM WITHIN MY WALLET?
Yes, Staking is always done from within your wallet. You should never send your ADA to someone in order to stake. Staking within the Daedalus and Yoroi wallet are the most popular with our users.
DO I NEED TO CLAIM MY REWARDS?
With Cardano and Nerd you never need to claim your rewards. Rewards are automatically deposited into your wallet after every epoch. Unlike staking on an exchange, Cardano wallets function independently.
WHEN WILL I START EARNING REWARDS?
It takes four epochs before you start earning rewards. This can take 20-25 days, and will continue to pay you (even if you leave) for all epochs you participated in. One of the many benefits of Cardano.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I ADD MORE ADA TO MY WALLET?
When you add ADA to your existing wallet, it is then automatically placed into the pool you are currently delegating to (NERD), and rewards will be calculated.
WHAT PERCENTAGE OF RETURN ON STAKE SHOULD I EXPECT?
Cardano.org states a 4.6% return on stake. Although currently 5% to 5.5% is common in the industry. Rewards may vary per epoch.
CAN I LOSE ADA WHILE STAKING?
Your staked ADA is completely safe! Your staked funds remain solely in your control - stake pools never have access to your funds or rewards. Additionally, you can never lose funds by staking them.
